Sunday Morning Services at the Hilltop Centre

Our family service, each Sunday morning at |
Balancing the worship aspirations of the members with a fast moving style that keeps the interest of the children and teenagers is always a challenge, however the use of music written in recent years, together with the involvement of the children whenever possible, and the acceptance that we each have different needs, gets us through. The outcome is a pattern of services each month that has become accepted. |
Looking deceptively small, the hall in which we hold our services can seat around 100. |
The second building we use houses the Coffee Bar, Games Room and Office. It will look much better once the painters have finished!
The Fellowship is well represented on the Management Committee of the Hilltop Centre |
First Sunday Our monthly communion service centred on worship throughout. Second Sunday Arranged and taken by members of the congregation with lay preacher Joe Brettle bringing God's message. Third Sunday Parade Service for the Brigades and Band when the congregation is doubled or trebled by the youngsters and their parents. Members of the Brigades are invited to take part in the service. The third Sunday tends to coincide with the special services of the year such as Mothering Sunday, Harvest and the Carol Service. Fourth Sunday Something for everyone: worship, prayer requests, children's talk, teaching. |
When a month has five Sundays the additional service is used to bring into focus different aspects of Christian work or teaching by inviting guest speakers, using taped talks or videos. On Remembrance Sunday we join with the other Polesworth Churches for the Village parade and service at the parish
