For their part the youngsters provide an evening of entertainment reflecting some of the things from the year's activities; this also provides them with a stage to express themselves in music and drama. The entertainment is the Brigade member's way of saying thank you to parents and friends for the support they give, also to the leaders for their dedication.
Everyone is welcome to come and support the youngsters.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY
8th November 2008
The Fellowship joins with the other churches of the village for the annual service of Remembrance held at Polesworth Abbey Church. This year the Congregational Church takes the responsibility for leading the service.
Prior to the service all the youth organisations of the village together with past members of the British Legion, past and present members of the armed forces, the Air Training Corps, the fire service and others parade through the village to church. The act of remembrance occurs after the service when the congregation stand at the War Memorial in the church drive.
As the years pass this remembrance is marked by fewer and fewer who can recall the conflicts or even the resultant hardships when husbands and fathers failed to return, so it falls to us who have come later to ensure their sacrifice is not forgotten.
