WHAT'S ON IN AUGUST

CHURCH SERVICES IN AUGUST (Unless stated otherwise services start at 10.30 am)

With the holiday season upon us our services in August take on a more relaxed style.  The arrangements each week are as follows:

Sunday 5th              Led by Joe Brettle the service includes an opportunity for you to choose a hymn or song or to suggest a favourite reading or poem.

Sunday 12th           Similar arrangement to last week

Sunday 12th           At our evening service at St John's Church in Birchmoor at 6.30 pm we will be focusing on holidays.  David has asked that you bring photo's from holidays you have enjoyed.  (Cleaning at St John's at 2 pm on Saturday as usual)

Sunday 19th           The first of two weeks when we will be watching a DVD.  This week it's Rob Parsons speaking about prayer.  Rob Parsons is Executive Director of Care for the Family.

Sunday 19th           Recently started, it's for young adults, it's led by Karl Hughes, and it's beginning to establish a more open style of community.  It starts at 7 pm.

Sunday 26th           Our second DVD, entitled 'The Father's Love Letter', brings a collection of scripture verses, beautiful images, music and thoughts to encourage and inspire.
