15 Jan 2007 - Air Ambulance donation
The Fellowship chose to support the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance with the offering taken at the 2006 Christmas Day service.
The offering amounted to £146.53 enabling a cheque to be sent for £150.
Carol Shaw, Administration Manager for the Air Ambulance, responded as follows:
"I am writing to thank you so much for the very valuable support you have given to our Air Ambulance and to officially acknowledge receipt of your donation of £150.00 raised from your Christmas Day service.
This is another vital contribution to keeping our voluntary emergency medical service flying to the rescue of people in Warwickshire and Northamptonshire.
As we receive no funding from either Central Government or the National Lottery, we rely totally on voluntary donations and support from our communities. Since our launch in Octobrer 2003 we have flown over 4,200 missions and saved many lives, and it has only been possible because of the support we receive from kind and generous people like you.
Carol Shaw"
Thank you to all who supported. More information about the Air Ambulance can be found on their web site at www.wnaa.co.uk (see Web Links)
